The Creative Craft Show is a haven for knitting, cross stitch, paper crafting, jewellery & dressmaking and stitching enthusiasts, offering all the very latest supplies, ideas and innovations in the hobby world! You’ll find everything from kits, charts and patterns to fabrics, yarns, threads and buttons plus opportunities to glean advice from industry experts.

The beauty of textile
Pat is an Internationally renowned textile artist, who travels extensively worldwide to exhibit and teach. On her stand she will be demonstrating a variety of techniques, including painted Lutradur, Markal paintsticks, gilding and foiling fabrics and also how to use her unique Transfer Templates. Intrigued? You’ll have to visit her to find out more!

Come along for all the information you need to get involved and see the Grans amazing ICHF journey across the years.
Mind boggling quilt
A showcase of illusions and a kaleidoscope of colours – in quilt! Come and see this new exhibition of over 40 quilts all designed to fool the eye. There’s everything from 3D effects in 2D, transparency and impossible triangles. All pieces were created by The Modern Quilt Group of the Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles.
Jay Raven’s Inventors Asylum merges art, craft and science to bring you an amazing array of creations. From 200-year old photography techniques like cyanotypes to post apocalyptic stage costume, there is something for everyone. Come and see how technology and craft blend together to make fantastic things happen and even join in!
a nip & tuck!
Internationally acclaimed tutor, lecturer and author of nine books, Jennie Rayment is totally obsessed with twiddling, fiddling, nipping, tucking and manipulating! From sewing machine to over-locker and by hand, stitch enthusiasts will be addicted to her novel designs. Jennie is an entertaining and educational lecturer; she also demonstrates on television.
Queen of Rust
Bex Raven, The Queen of Rust will demonstrate the unique approach to dyeing and stitching. Drawing inspiration from historical Japan to the modern day and beyond, her techniques include hand and machine embroidery as well as dressmaking. Visit her stand to find out more about the life changing art of Wabi Sabi.
Tracey is a qualified senior Art Clay and PMC instructor. With 20 plus years experience, she teaches at Craftworx studio in East Yorkshire, and travels extensively in the UK, as well as being a guest designer on Jewellery Maker TV. Tracey will be doing demos on her stand.

Get hands-on at a Make & Take or workshop and create your own crafty masterpiece!
There’s a wide range of creative crafts to try, with lots of help and encouragement from the experts.

Drop in on the Art & Craft Glitter Greetings ‘Make and Take’. Children and adults welcome. Relaxing, easy and looks amazing, glittering on designer acetates, flowers and butterflies. Cost £2.00. Combine the designs with gorgeous glitter peel offs and bling, illusion sheets. Great on cards, decorating boxes, mdf and acrylic shapes etc.
Card and paper projects using mixed media. For 16 years and over. Simply book your place on the stand.
Decopatchme.co.uk will be giving you Make & Take opportunities all through the show. If you haven’t Decopatched before it’s a really quick and easy way of decorating objects using their special papers and glue varnish medium. Working on almost any surface straight from the bottle you can produce really satisfying results in no time! There’s no need to book, just turn up and join in the fun!
Enjoy mesmerising Mini Marbling Workshops with Craig Joubert. Marbling onto tiles & fabric. Bookings taken at my stand only. Limited spaces available.
The Arty Crafty Place will be running workshops on their stand throughout the show. Learn how to Block Print with beautiful hand carved Indian printing blocks, and print your own tea towel.
Create a pixel mosaic key ring or fridge magnet! Suitable for any experience level and for ages 5+ Come and try this exciting technique! £2.50 per person.
Join Gillian for a Needlefelting taster. You will learn the basics of applique Needlefelting and will be able to take your creation home. No artistic talent is needed. Please book on the stand (as spaces are limited). Charge is £5 per head.
