Knitters, stitchers, hobbyists and crafters will be in their element with endless supplies, innovations, new product launches, demonstrations and workshops designed to encourage and inspire your creativity – there’s no better place to stock up and revel in creative craft inspiration

Scottish-based Elena Costella was a journalist who now designs hand knit garments for yarn companies worldwide. Elena teaches various textile-related techniques and, although knitting will always be her first love, she is best known as a multi-media textile artist. Elena has had some offbeat commissions in her time, including a gigantic knitted hat and scarf set for the Famous Grouse installation on the outskirts of Perth and a huge knitted wire golfing cap for a sculpture installed at Carnoustie Golf Course.
Get hands-on at a Make & Take or workshop and create your own crafty masterpiece! There’s a wide range of creative crafts to try, with lots of help and encouragement from the experts.
Workshops can only be booked at the show – on the day you attend visit the stand number of the workshop you wish to book.

A simple, but extremely effective traditional sewing craft from Japan. In 30 minutes you can learn all of the basics of Sashiko. Suitable for all ages and skills.
Join Gillian for a Needlefelting taster. You will learn the basics of applique Needlefelting and will be able to take your creation home. No artistic talent is needed. Please book on the stand (as spaces are limited). Charge is £5 per head.
Marbling is a mesmerising, memorable and rewarding experience for teachers and pupils alike. Learn marbling techniques with these on-stand Make & Takes. Join in for free at the stand, but spaces are limited. Marbling kits are child-friendly and non-toxic with quick drying paints. Prints onto any natural fibre.
Raw Leatherworks will be working on behalf of Tandy Leather this year on the Demonstration Stand. Join a Make & Take featuring personalized and/or stamped keyrings and bracelets! There will be demonstrations throughout the day on stitching business card holders and iPhone covers. Visit the stand to find out times.
The Arty Crafty Place will be running workshops on their stand throughout the show. Learn how to Block Print with beautiful hand carved Indian printing blocks, and print your own tea towel.
Learn how to knit an infinity scarf in less than an hour using your arms! No knitting needles involved - great for knitters and non-knitters; adults and teenagers alike. Workshops throughout each day, £5.00 per person and you will walk away wearing your incredibly attractive (and clever) infinity scarf. Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis so please come along and book your place in the morning.
Come and have a go at making this fabulous pendant with glass pearls and learn a new technique. They are so easy to make and look stylish and professional. Classes run throughout the day on a first-come, first-served basis. If you see a chair empty just sit down and start making! Workshops last about 20-30 minutes.
