The Creative Craft Show is the North West haven for knitting, cross stitch, papercraft, jewellery, textile, dressmaking and stitching enthusiasts; offering the latest supplies, ideas and innovations in the hobby world! You’ll find everything from kits, charts and patterns to tools and accessories plus opportunities to glean advice from industry experts!

Chunky Knitting & Macramé
Come and join the talented Paula from Cocoon&me as she runs a range of workshops. Make a macrame plant hanger or try our chunky arm knitting, choose your colour and create a stylish throw for your home (or as a gift!). The chunky knit workshop is 2.5hrs and macrame is 2 hours. The Creation Station!
The Creation Station is the UK’s first and leading creative activity provider. Their aim is to inspire the nation’s imaginations and have fun along the way. The Creation Station have activity leaders across the country but for the first time ever we are lucky enough to be able to welcome them to The Creative Craft Show! They will be bringing with them a variety of exciting workshops for adults and children. From Slime to Macramé there is something for everyone. Visit the ‘Book workshop’ section to secure your space!
Claire Gelder used her love and passion of working with wool to found her business Wool Couture in 2015, aiming to inspire others to take up the centuries-old pastimes of macramé, knitting, weaving and crochet by giving these timeless hobbies a twenty-first century makeover. Join her at stand C28 to learn the basics of how make crochet animals like Mabel Bunny!
Teddy & Me
We can’t wait to welcome teddyand.me to our Manchester show (5-7 Sept). We absolutely love the idea of being able to create unique matching outfits for your little ones and their cuddly friends – twinning is winning! Come and check out their easy to use sewing patterns at stand C46.
We can’t wait to welcome GM Crafts to Manchester. They will be bringing a whole range of Silhouette and Cricut products, We R Memory Keepers, as well as their acclaimed vinyls (iron on and self-adhesive). Plus brand new iron on transfers with everything from unicorns, llamas, flowers and horses to sport, tractors and more! Find them at stand F11!
Members of Contemporary Quilt were challenged to create work inspired by the words ‘In Print’. Interpretations range from physical to the spiritual and from issues close to home to global ones. They
Glimpses of Royalty
The theme for the Madeira embroidery competition 2019 was Glimpses of the Royalty. Whether inspired by a recent Royal occasion; hundred of years of history; looking to foreign lands or delving much further back to ancient Egypt, we asked you to create a rich tableaux in stitches. Supported by Stitch magazine with the Embroiderers’ Guild, the winners and the ‘Best of the Rest’ will be on display. Queen of Rust
Award wining textile artist and costume designer Bex Raven, the ‘Queen of Rust’, believes unleashing our inner creativity is the route to happiness. Her work is vibrant and, above all, fun. From textile collage to teaser corsets, Bex has it all.
The Pebeo Zone
This art zone will feature Derwent stand, Deco by Pebeo, the Artshop by Skipton area, Pebeo Mixed Media and the Art Experience! Demonstrations and workshops will be running throughout each day. An unmissable chance to try products, ask questions, learn and enjoy!
A passion for metal clay
If jewellery making is your thing then you’d be crazy not to come and talk to Tracey Spurgin who has over 20 years experience in metal clay. She has trained to the highest level with some of the world’s leading metal clay artists and instructors. What Tracey doesn’t know about jewellery making isn’t worth knowing!

Get hands-on at a Make & Take or workshop and create your own crafty masterpiece!
There’s a wide range of creative crafts to try, with lots of help and encouragement from the experts.

The Bead Selection are running on a first come basis classes all through the day , we are making a Rhapsody Bracelet in a selection of colour choices. Please come to the stand first thing and book your place, the classes run for 30 mins and cost £5 and you leave with learning a new technique and a beautiful piece of jewellery . Meg is once again teaching the class and we look forward to seeing you, Jacs and Andy.
Join Denyse as you create this beautiful, vintage, distressed look, flip top box. In this hour long mini workshop you will learn how to create this beautiful effect using everyday products. The cost is £10 and includes a “How To”, sheet to take home with your box.
Have a go at creating a small felted vessel using wet felting techniques. Starting from the wool fibres you will learn to manipulate them to form a freestanding vessel. Space limited so book early to avoid disappointment, on stand D60. Charges applicable.
Join Tracey Quinn on stand E42 for short introductory taster classes for stained glass using the Tiffany technique. With pre-cut glass pieces you will create a beautiful decorative piece to take home. Book your place on Tracey’s stand; charges apply.
Decopatch is a quick and easy way of stylishly decorating objects using special papers and glue varnish medium. Working on almost any surface straight from the bottle you can produce really satisfying results in no time!
