Join the Crafty Beggars for a range of Christmas themed workshops that are bound to get you into the festive spirit. There will also be an area to browse and buy a range of crafting materials. Plus a picnic area with supersize deckchair for the best selfie of the day! Bookable from next week…

Rosalind Freeborn – Papershades

Rosalind Freeborn is on a mission to make lampshades into art, whether the lights are on or off. She is the founder of Papershades, a new brand of paper college art, and runs workshops so any one can create their own, bespoke paper lampshade. Rosalind specialises in paper collage and studied art at City & Guilds of London Art School.

These stunning items will be touring the country and you’ll get the chance to select your favourite as a visitor’s choice top pick!

There’s a wide range of creative crafts to try, with lots of help and encouragement from the experts.

Workshops can only be booked at the show – on the day you attend visit the stand number of the workshop you wish to book.

Getting There

ExCeL, London · E16 1XL

By Car
Follow the directions for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL. There is easy access from the M25, M11, A406 and A13.

By Rail
The Jubilee Line and Docklands Light Railway (DLR) provide the quickest route to ExCeL.

By Air
London City Airport is located five minutes from ExCeL. Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton are also easily accessible.

EAL Cable Car

Arrive in style with a unique flight on the Emirates Air Line cable car for just £2.50 when you show your Creative Craft Show ticket/confirmation.  Fly across the Thames with spectacular views of St Paul’s Cathedral, The Gherkin, Thames Barrier, Maritime Greenwich and The Olympic Park. The Emirates Air Line cable car transports you from North Greenwich via London’s highest observational point over the Thames in less than 10 minutes.

You can also glide down and fly over the Thames with joint tickets with MBNA Thames Clippers. More information available here.
