Make & Takes
Get hands-on at a Make & Take and create your own crafty masterpiece! There’s a wide range of creative crafts to try, with lots of help and encouragement from the experts.
Make & Takes can only be booked at the show – on the day you attend visit the stand number of the workshop you wish to book.
Create a pixel mosaic key ring or fridge magnet! Suitable for any experience level and for ages 5+. Come and try this exciting technique! £2.50 per person.
Decorate a selection of acetates using a range of glitters! Choose from unicorns, cup cakes and owls. Very cute, easy to do, and look absolutely gorgeous.
Adults and children welcome.
Cost £2.00. No need to book.

Browse aisle and aisles of stalls and stands packed with brand-new crafting innovations, classic tools and products and accessories in every colour of the rainbow!
With experts manning each stall – you’ll be sure to find exactly what you need!

Exhibition Centre is SEC’s own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour from Central Station (Platform 17) will bring you to Exhibition Centre station in a journey time of just three minutes.
Buses can be accessed from George Square (near Queen Street Station) and Union Street (near Central Station). For timetable visit www.firstglasgow.com
The Clyde Walkway runs right past the SEC. There are two footbridges which cross the Clydeside Express Way (dual carriageway connecting the west end to Glasgow city centre) at both the front and rear of the campus.
Leave the M8 at Junction 19 and follow the signs for the SEC. Entry is off Finnieston Street.
The SEC multi-storey car park is at 10 Stobcross Road, Glasgow, G3 8YW. Parking is also available at The Science Centre – 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow, G51 1EA. Disabled visitors wanting to catch the buggy to The SEC will need to park at the SEC.
