Featured Maker – Fabrics at Fleetwood
We are excited to welcome Fabrics at Fleetwood back to our Glasgow show. Head to stand E14 to find beautiful, quality fabrics for patchwork, quilting and more. Kits, including a cute teddy bear and bag. All kits are designed in-house and available in a range of designer fabrics including Liberty and Orla Keily. Scottish Family History
SAFHS promotes the study of Scottish Family History, and provides a forum for exchange of information among members. Their membership includes all established Family History Societies in Scotland, as well as several National and Regional bodies throughout the world.
Scottish School of 3D Decoupage
Visit this popular group of crafters from Brackenbrae House, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow and be amazed at what can be bought to life using only scissors and glue. Feathering, shaping and layering techniques suitable for all ages and abilities, demonstrated throughout the day. Always a popular stand!
The Beadworkers Guild is a registered charity dedicated to promoting and supporting the art of beadweaving. Open to beadworkers and bead artists everywhere it provides various events, activities and publications to encourage knowledge, sharing and the exchange of ideas.
The Lace Guild
The Lace Guild will be displaying lace created by their members, who work to keep this traditional craft alive, including contemporary pieces. There is the opportunity for visitors to make a small piece of lace to keep as a souvenir on their ‘Have-a-go’ pillows, which are always popular, especially with younger visitors.
Glasgow Guild of Silk Painters
A few keen and enthusiastic silk painters in north Glasgow formed the Scottish branch of the Guild of Silk Painters in 2008. With support from the National Guild and practical help of a Lottery Award, the branch has grown and includes members from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ayr.

Our workshops are a great way of getting even more from your day and give you the opportunity to try something new, and come away with a finished piece to keep. They also make great gifts! This year we have nine workshops to choose from, there are several Christmas themed workshops plus others including silk painting, jewellery making, stencilling and sewing and more! The Pebeo Zone
This art zone will feature Derwent stand, Deco by Pebeo, the Artshop by Skipton area, Pebeo Mixed Media and the Art Experience! Demonstrations and workshops will be running throughout each day. An unmissable chance to try products, ask questions, learn and enjoy!

Get hands-on at a Make & Take and create your own crafty masterpiece! There’s a wide range of creative crafts to try, with lots of help and encouragement from the experts.
Make & Takes can only be booked at the show – on the day you attend visit the stand number of the workshop you wish to book.

A small credit card sized Crystal Art project, which gives users a chance to try the phenomenally popular craft, Crystal Art, for themselves. This project will take around 15 minutes to complete. It involves applying small crystals
onto a sticky template, using a pick-up pen. All materials are included.

In 30 minutes you can learn all of the basics of Sashiko. A simple, but extremely effective traditional sewing craft from Japan. Suitable for all ages and skill levels. cost £4.00 per person. Also try the art of Traditional Japanese bookbinding; learn how to produce stunning washi paper A5 covered book in this brand new class. Join Tracey Quinn on stand E42 for short introductory taster classes for stained glass using the Tiffany technique. With pre-cut glass pieces you will create a beautiful decorative piece to take home. Book your place on Tracey’s stand; charges apply.
Make this clever little thread catcher, which folds away when not in use. 60 minute sessions running throughout the day, places are limited so make sure you book your place on stand F20; cost £5 per person.

SEC, Glasgow · G3 8YW
Exhibition Centre is SEC’s own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour from Central Station (Platform 17) will bring you to Exhibition Centre station in a journey time of just three minutes.
Buses can be accessed from George Square (near Queen Street Station) and Union Street (near Central Station). For timetable visit www.firstglasgow.com
The Clyde Walkway runs right past the SEC. There are two footbridges which cross the Clydeside Express Way (dual carriageway connecting the west end to Glasgow city centre) at both the front and rear of the campus.
Leave the M8 at Junction 19 and follow the signs for the SEC. Entry is off Finnieston Street.
The SEC multi-storey car park is at 10 Stobcross Road, Glasgow, G3 8YW. Parking is also available at The Science Centre – 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow, G51 1EA. Disabled visitors wanting to catch the buggy to The SEC will need to park at the SEC.
