The Creative Craft Show is a haven for knitting, cross stitch, paper crafting, jewellery & dressmaking and stitching enthusiasts, offering all the very latest supplies, ideas and innovations in the hobby world! You’ll find everything from kits, charts and patterns to fabrics, yarns, threads and buttons plus opportunities to glean advice from industry experts.

Your safety and well being remains our number one priority.  We are constantly reviewing procedures across our events to ensure that we keep everyone safe, and we will continue to review our approach based upon UK Government guidelines and Public Health England.

Contemporary Quilt Group

Contemporary Quit is a special interest group of the Quilters Guild of the British Isles, creating innovative and dynamic textile art, using contemporary materials and techniques – Aiming to encourage quilters to extend and develop their work. At Exeter, they are represented by the Exe Valley group, with members from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset, showing their latest Journal Quits and ‘Print or Stencil’ Challenge.

Exeter Embroiderers

Exeter Embroiderers show work inspired by the human figure. Using a diverse range of techniques from cross-stitch to long stitch and more modern styles of free embroidery, to celebrate the elegance of the twenties and quirkiness of the older generation.

The National Needlework Archive (NNA)

The NNA is highlighting its conservation work featuring international banners from our TOC H collection. The NNA is open to all and is based in Newbury, Berkshire. They keep a documentary record of needle worked textiles located in the UK, host exhibitions and courses.

West Country Creative

Inspirational jewellery making workshops using silver and/or polymer clay – with a great range of creative one-day (or longer!) experiences to choose from, learn how to make rings, necklaces, earrings and more in their purpose built, Devon based garden studio.

Devon Felters, with Wool on the Wire

A group of non-profit textile artists and tutors, breeders, crafting designer wearables, interiors, accessories, jewellery, sculptural, “goodies”,printmaking, eco printing, patchwork. Members offer workshops and demonstrations.

One of our popular CCS Live virtual tutors Lyndsey, from Crafting with Lyndsey delivers craft workshops, retreats and parties across the South West. She also has a range of craft kits that are perfect for crafting beginners and those with experience that want to try something new. 

kerrie padmore – living in loveliness workshops

After Kerrie’s successful run of virtual sewing tutorials, via Creative Craft Show Live, it’s time to join her now at a real live event! Kerrie’s passion lies in bringing people together in workshops through their shared joy of sewing, and she looks forward to welcoming you to her wonderful world of ‘Living in Loveliness’ at the Exeter show. the modern calligraphy company

The Modern Calligraphy Company aims to inspire beginners, enthusiasts and professionals to continue to develop their calligraphy skills and their passion for letting. Join The Modern Calligraphy Company for the first time ever at Exeter for demonstrations, hints, tips and workshops. Plus stock up on kits and tools as gifts or a treat to yourself! 


On show for the first time in England – Fragmentation, the Contemporary Quilt Groups’ 2020 Challenge. Featuring 51 quilts in total, this exciting set of quilts presents fascinating interpretations on the theme and was the first ever non-juried CQ challenge, with the aim of encouraging more members to take part.

Exeter Flyer 

Tracey Quinn

Tracey of Glass Garden Studios will be demonstrating the art of Stained Glass, which will continue throughout the day. Cutting, shaping and “leading” glass into creative designs, offering handy tips you may want to know to get started in this traditional craft.

Lynda Monk

Lynda is a mixed media textile artist, tutor and author of four books, who likes to combine unusual materials and mediums to create new surfaces. On her stand at the show she will be demonstrating some of her latest techniques.

Joan Prowse

Joan Prowes (Moncrieffe) is a Devon-based artist who pioneered large two- and three-dimensional needle-felted animal portraiture in her original creation of “Peace in the Valley” (the Lion and Lamb) back in 2013. From there she has become a regular exhibitor with ICHF Creative Craft Shows and has gained a reputation as an expert in needle felting both as a tutor and artist.

The Family History Federation

Westpoint Exhibition Centre at the Devon Showground, Clyst St Mary (1 mile east from junction 30, M5 on the A3052)

Westpoint is just one mile from junction 30 of the M5, providing direct access from London, Birmingham, Bristol and Plymouth. For Westpoint, exit the M5 at junction 30 and follow the A3052 Sidmouth road for one mile. Westpoint is on your left hand side.

Exeter St. David’s provides direct rail links to all major cities in the UK. The station is 6 miles from Westpoint.

Visiting by Bus

National coach and bus services call at Exeter Bus Station in the centre of Exeter. The bus station is 6 miles from Westpoint. To book tickets or find out more information please visit

The number 9 bus from the Exeter Bus Station on Paris Street runs approx every 30 minutes during the day (except Sundays). The journey time is around 20 minutes. Westpoint is a request stop. For more information please visit
